The solidarity aspect of the Vueling Cursa Bombers Barcelona grows year after year.
The Vueling Cursa Bombers Barcelona presents the 2nd episode of the ‘Solidàriament Parlant’ content, a series of short interviews with the protagonists of the solidarity podium challenges of last year’s race.
We started the season with episode 1 with the 2024 winning solidarity challenge ‘’Correr per donar respri”, by Nexe Fundació, which raised the highest amount in the Vueling Cursa Bombers Barcelona 2024.

Arce Garcia, from the Barcelona Fire Department in Parc de Montjuïc, and one of the promoters of the challenge, comments: “We have created a great team… now it’s time to continue and start again this year!”
For his episode, Thomas, the father of Matilda, one of the main protagonists of this challenge, explains the case of the little girl, and how the Enriqueta Villavecchia Foundation helps children suffering from childhood cancer and other serious illnesses: “My daughter Matilda was diagnosed five years ago, and since then, the Enriqueta Villavecchia Foundation has been supporting us… With this challenge, we want to continue contributing to the rehabilitation of the Victory Pavilion, on the grounds of the Sant Pau hospital…”
And Anna Varderi, Manager of the Villavecchia Foundation, adds “Without your help, the Victoria Pavilion would not be possible. It will have a piece of the Race, the Solidarity Firefighters and the families.”

Last year, a total of €10,000 in donations was raised, adding to the more than €37,000 raised by the 17 charity challenges on the Migranodearena.org platform.
And as is tradition, in each edition of the Vueling Cursa Bombers Barcelona, together with the Reptes Solidaris of migranodearena.org, runners can donate money once they have registered (€1, €3 or €5), and from 2024, €1 from each registration will be allocated entirely to the charity challenges.
