The Solidarity Challenges of the Vueling Barcelona Firefighters Race 2025 begin

  • In addition to being a race that all runners have marked on their calendars for being a great running party with a spectacular route, the Vueling Cursa Bombers Barcelona is also one of the most emblematic for its solidarity aspect.
  • Since its inception, the VCBB has been linked to Bombers Solidaris, a non-profit organization formed by members of the Barcelona Fire Department that promotes various solidarity projects.

The VCBB is not just a race: it is also a social commitment. For 25 years, Barcelona’s most special race has had an important solidarity component, one of the pillars of the Vueling Cursa Bombers Barcelona which will be vital again on November 9th,

The 2024 edition, marked by a special remembrance for those affected by the DANA in Valencia, was a record, but this year we want even more. This year’s goal is to exceed the more than €51,000 raised in solidarity initiatives, one of them being “Correr per donar respir” by Nexe Fundació, the project featured in the first episode of Solidariência Parlant 2025
