“Correr per donar respir” with Nexe Fundació, protagonist of the first episode of Solidàriament Parlant 2025

  • The Vueling Cursa Bombers Barcelona 2025 begins its solidarity challenges with “Run to give a break” by Nexe Fundació, the challenge that raised the most money last year.

As every year, solidarity will be one of the pillars of the Vueling Cursa Bombers Barcelona, ​​the only race in the city of Barcelona that has two podiums: the athletes’ and the solidarity one. Last February, the organization of the Vueling Cursa Bombers Barcelona delivered the donations collected from the registrations of the last edition of the race to Bombers Solidaris, a total of €10,000 in donations.

 

To this important figure, it must be added the more than €37,000 raised by the 17 solidarity challenges on the Migranodearena.org platform. Among all these solidarity challenges that took place on the 25th anniversary of La de Bombers, celebrated on November 10, 2024, the challenge that raised the most money was ‘Corre per donar respir’, a project promoted by Nexe Fundació with the aim of continuing to offer activities and a space of support to children with multiple disabilities and their families, as is the case of Marc Rovira, a Barcelona Firefighter and one of the Solidarity Firefighters and runners who collaborated to help raise funds for this solidarity challenge.
