B2MB5RS: Let’s meet the protagonists of the Vueling Cursa Bombers Barcelona throughout its 25 years.

• In each chapter of B2MB5RS we will meet two important figures of the Vueling Cursa Bombers Barcelona during these 25 years.

• Pep Ribas i Alex Monton star in the 1st chapter of B2MB5RS.

Vueling Cursa Bombers Barcelona presents B2MB5RS, a series of video content on social media in which we will meet some of the protagonists throughout the 25 years of history that completes the Cursa Bombers this year.

We begin with episode 1 with Pep Ribas, Barcelona Firefighter and former head of the Cursa Bombers by Bombers. And Alex Monton, Firefighter of Barcelona and responsible for Bombers Solidaris and the solidarity challenges of the Cursa.

Pep Ribas, of the cos de Bombers de Barcelona and now retired, has been the person responsible for the Cursa Bombers from 2016 to 2023 on behalf of Bombers de Barcelona.: “We had to withdraw the Bombers qualifiers because everyone wanted to win and it was counterproductive!”

Alex Monton, Barcelona Firefighter at the Parc de Montjuïc, is the head of the association Bombers Solidaris and promoter of the solidarity challenges of the Cursa on the Migranodearena platform.

Apart from having corrected many of the races as Bomber/Runner, largely thanks to him, from 2019 to 2023 more than 127,000€ have been raised for charitable causes.

“I remember that before running the course I saw the posters and I thought it was only run by Bombers, ha ha.”
