The 24th edition of the Vueling Cursa de Bombers is really special, as it presents historic changes in its route. Now, the route is new and much faster, with a 360º turn, and both the start and finish will be in Passeig Picasso, next to the Ciutadella Park.

To keep you up to date with all the latest news and make sure you don’t miss out on any of the details, here is some essential information so that you can make the most of this day of running on Sunday 22 October:

Picking up your race bib: You will have to pick up your race bib at the selected Decathlon between Thursday and Saturday, from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm.

Use of the chip: If you have a rental chip, you will receive it with your race bib. If you have any doubts about how to put it in, you can consult the instructions here: Link.

Prepare your safety pins: Don’t forget to bring safety pins to hold your bib correctly.

Starting box: Your starting box has been assigned based on your times in 10km races in Barcelona, such as La Mercè, Bombes, Nassos, Sants, Sant Antoni, Jean Bouin, etc., during the years 2021 and 2022. If you do not have times in these races, you will be able to change your box in the same Decathlon shop, presenting a proof of time from a race approved by the FCA in the last 2 years.

Keep your belongings in the cloakroom: On the day of the race, you will be able to leave your belongings at the cloakroom from 7:30 to 8:45. This will be located at l’Estació Espai Gastronòmic, at França station, Av/ Marquès de l’Argentera, 6-8.

Access to your departure box: Make sure you enter your box through the corresponding entrance before 8:45am. For more information about the location, you can consult this: Link.

Refreshment stations: Throughout the race, there will be two refreshment points, one at kilometre 5 and the other at the end of the course. Water, Aquarius and fruit will be available.

T-shirts: If you are one of the last 1,000 runners to register, remember that the T-shirt will not be handed out with your race number at the Decathlon shop. You will have to pick it up from 9 to 11 November at the Decathlon in Ciutat Vella.

Services at the end of the race: At the end of the race, chiromassage services will be provided near the entrance on Passeig de Til-lers, as well as medical attention with a medicalised ambulance.
