REGULATIONS VUELING CURSA BOMBERS BARCELONA 2024

    • Art. 1. The 2024 Vueling Cursa Bombers Barcelona will be placed on Sunday the 10th November of 2024. The start line is going to be located at Avinguda Marquès de l’Argentera and will count with many start times. First will be at 8:50am and last at 9:07am.
    • Art. 2. The race is open to all the citizens. Minimum age allowed is 16 years old. Runners under 18 years old (16 – 17 yo) mandatory to be authorized by their legal guardian.
    • Art. 3. Distance: 10 km. Certified by the Federació Catalana d’Atletisme (FCA).
    • Art. 4. The track will be set up with km signal marks. Two provisioning points will be placed around km 5 and at the end of the race.
    • Art. 5. Official end of the race will be one hour and thirty minutes after the start.
    • Art. 6. The organization will provide the timing chips without an extra cost to all the runners registered in the 2024 race. 
    • Art 7. Use of the timing chip is mandatory. It must be located in the cords of the running shoe and it’s also mandatory to return them after the race. Volunteers will be waiting in the finish line to pick all the timing chips.
    • Art. 8. Registration cost is 19€ plus 1.99€ in terms of donation and administration expenses. Anyway the race offers discounts in the early bird tickets during two previous stages.
      • First stage between 10th April and 10th July 2024. Prize: 15€ + 1.99€ donation and administration expenses.
      • Second stage between 11th july and 10th October. Prize: 17€ + 1.99€ donation and administration expenses.
      • Last stage between 11th october and 3rd November. Prize: 19€ + 1.99€ donation and administration expenses.
    • Art. 9. Registering in the Vueling Cursa Bombers means charity. 1€ from every 1.99€ paid by all the runners registered in the race will be donated as a support of the Bombers Solidaris charity projects.
    • Art. 10. In case of not showing up in the race the organization will not refund any of the inscriptions. Refunds will be denied in all the cases except a medical certificate due to the organization’s approval.
      In case of a race date change due to major causes, the organization will offer the runners the chance to maintain the registration for the new confirmed date or the next year’s edition.
    • Art. 11. Registrations will be made on-line following the instructions in the page “INSCRIPTIONS”.
    • Art. 12. The Registration period will close when the limit of runners is reached or the 3rd November 23:59.
    • Art. 13. Organization can apply modifications in the official track due to external  major causes
    • Art. 14. Runners will join the different time start groups following the race time they want to achieve.
    • Art. 15. Only cars allowed to ride inside the track are the authorities, organization or staff vehicles.
    • Art. 16. Runner bib and timing chips must be picked up only during the picking days and exclusively in the picking point confirmed in the registration form. IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO COLLECT THE BIB IN THE RACE DAY.
    • Art. 17. The fact of not showing up and not picking up the bib will lead to the resignation of the goods and the no participation in the race.
    • Art 18. It is mandatory to join the race using the bib located in the front part of the t-shirt.
    • Art. 19. Race participation is under the runner’s own risk and responsibility. Organization declines all responsibility in terms of damages caused by the registered runners made to themselves or to third persons.
    • Art. 20. It is allowed to participate in the race using a wheelchair or a track & field car but hand bikes are not allowed in the race.
    • Art. 21. Participants with visual impairment must join the race with a guide and be visibly identified. Guides can use a GUIDE Signal and will race without timing chip and will not appear in the race leaderboard. If the guide wants to appear in the leaderboard it will need a standard registration.
    • Art. 22. Participants explicitly allow the public use of their names, genre, born date in the list of registered participants and the final leaderboard following the established regulations.
    • Art. 23. The fact of registering in this race implies the approbation of these regulations and also the regulations of all the official FCA races. Organization will manage and decide about any unscheduled issue.
    • Art. 24. Running with dogs or any domestic pet is not allowed in the race. Also baby cars are not allowed to join the track, only sport wheelchairs are allowed.
    • Art. 25. Prizes will be given to the top three male and top three females. Also the fastest fireman and fire woman will be rewarded.
