THE REGULATIONS OF THE VUELING CURSA BOMBERS BARCELONA

  • Art. 1 . The Vueling Cursa Bombers will take place on Sunday , October 22, 2023 . The exit will be located on Avinguda Marquès de l’Argentera. There will be a single departure at 9:00 am.
  • Art. 2 . The test is open to all citizens. The minimum age to participate in the test is 16 years . Children under 18 (16-17 years) must be authorized by their legal guardians.
  • Art. 3 . Distance: 10 km. Approved by the FCA.
  • Art. 4 . The route will be properly signposted and marked every kilometer. There will be refreshment points and they will be located approximately at kilometers 4.7 and at the finish line.
  • Art. 5 . The closing of the race will take place an hour and a half after it started.
  • Art. 6 . The use of a timing chip is mandatory. The rental chip is located on the number. Therefore, it will not have to be returned and it will not have to be put on the laces either. Only those with the yellow chip must wear it on their lanyards.
  • Art. 7 . Registration costs €17 plus €2 if you use a rental chip. In case of not participating, the amount of the same, or the white chip, will not be returned, if it is for reasons not attributable to the organization. Refunds will not be made under any circumstances. With the exception of a medical justification, which must be approved by the organization.

    In the event of a change in the date of the Vueling Cursa Bombers due to force majeure, the organization will offer registrants the possibility of maintaining their registration for the new date established or for the next edition of the test.

  • Art. 8 . Registrations will be made online following the instructions in the “REGISTRATIONS” section
  • Art. 9 . Registration will close when registrations run out or on October 15 at 11:59 p.m.
  • Art. 10 . The organization may modify the route due to external causes and/or force majeure.
  • Art. 11 . Athletes will be distributed in boxes based on the brand accredited in approved races of the current season or the previous one as recorded in the ChampionChip record.
  • Art. 12 . There will be departures every day from 9:00am.
  • Art. 13 . The only vehicles that can follow the race will be those expressly authorized by the organization and fulfill a specific mission.
  • Art. 14 . The numbers and chips must be collected on the days and time slot that has been requested based on availability. NO BIBS WILL BE GIVEN ON THE DAY OF THE RACE
  • Art. 15 . The fact of not removing the number and the chip on the established days means renouncing them and participation without a number. (See the section Collection of number and chip)
  • Art. 16 . The test is part of the 10k challenge races, corresponding to the 2022-2023 calendar.
  • Art. 17 . It is mandatory to run the race with the number placed on the front of the shirt so that it is visible.
  • Art. 18 . Participation in the event will be done at the responsibility and own risk of the participants in the race. The organization declines all responsibility for the damage that the participants may cause during the test. Make themselves or third parties.
  • Art. 19 . You can participate with a wheelchair or athletics cart, but not with a handbike.
  • Art. 20 . People with visual functional diversity must be properly identified, as well as the person acting as their guide. The guides will have a GUIA number, will go without a chip and will not appear in the classification. If you want to appear in the results, the GUIA will have to make a conventional registration.
  • Art. 21 . To qualify for the category of visual, intellectual, cerebral palsy and physical functional diversity, you must attach a copy of the disability card to the address info@cursadebombers.barcelona. If a guide is needed, the details must be indicated (name, surname, ID or passport, date of birth, mobile phone and email).
  • Art. 22 . The participants explicitly allow their name, surname, gender and year of birth to be published in the lists of registrants, as well as in the list of results if they finish the race, following the established regulations.
  • Art. 23 . Registering for the test implies acceptance of these regulations and the long-distance race regulations of the Catalan Athletics Federation (FCA). The organization will decide any incident that is not foreseen.
  • Art. 24 . Participants are not allowed to run with DOGS or other animals , nor are they accompanied by STROLLERS or similar for children.
  • Art. 25 . Prizes will be awarded to the first three classifieds in the absolute male and female categories. The first firefighter and first female firefighter will also be awarded.
